    US Cash Management Lead

    The Role

    This leadership role is responsible to oversee the US Cash Management team and work with other staff members in the department to ensure that all entries associated with the US bank accounts are recorded properly and reconciled daily as well as being vigilant about spotting and reporting suspicious activity that could be fraudulent.  Tasks must be completed accurately and in compliance with established deadlines. Other ad hoc accounting analysis and special projects will be assigned as well.


    • Key Accountabilities:
      • Ensure that the team is on track with all duties & deadlines
      • Monitor bank accounts & flag requirements for transfers
      • Liaise with banks & other stakeholders as required
      • Record daily banking activity
      • Ensure that cheques are cleared
      • Clearing of deposits
      • Update month to date spreadsheet
      • Completion of other treasury functions and analysis
      • Completion of special projects as assigned
      • Adherence to all policies & procedures


    • Competencies & Education:
      • Requires CPA designation or completion of later stages of CPA and/or equivalent experience
      • Exceptional Excel skills
      • Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment with high volumes of transactions
      • Exceptionally detail oriented and accurate
      • Good understanding of accounting process
      • Thorough understanding of reconciliation processes
      • Experience using Great Plains software or similar software
      • The ability to learn and adapt to new software
      • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
      • Supervisory experience
      • Able to work well with others
      • Self motivated
      • Reliable
